Advisor panel

In this tab, you can create your own library of alerts, to keep you updated if certain thresholds are reached.

The panel is divided into two parts. In the 'Triggers' tab you can create, set and manage thresholds. In the 'Alerts' tab you can view which elements have crossed those thresholds.

Triggers vs Trigger Points

Please note that 'Triggers' in the Advisor panel are different from Trigger Points in the Appraisal tab.

In the Advisor tab, Triggers are thresholds which cause alerts when using CityCAD. Trigger Points are only used within the Appraisal tab to define points in time at which costs or values may be applied.

What is an Alert?

An alert is a notification that a threshold (defined in the triggers tab) has been crossed.

Alerts only appear temporarily for as long as the threshold is crossed by the current city model. For example, if a change was made to the city model so that the threshold is no longer crossed, then the alert would disappear.
